PROGRAMS & WORKSHOPS

These programs and workshops are offered in a 4-hour format, tailored specifically for women or co-ed groups, with the option for customization to meet individual needs.

Personal Protection: This workshop covers the essential topics such as Canada’s Criminal Code, the use of force and the reactionary gap; how to deal with fear; stress and motor skills; technical principles; vital targets; range and distance; stages of physical self defence and the self defence process; and various scenarios that explore defensive strategies against various attacks (ex: grabs, punches, holds, etc.). This program is for everyone over the age of 13 years of age, regardless of their level of athletic ability.

Urban Safety and Security: This program covers the government’s, community’s, neighborhood’s and the individual’s responsibility for urban safety and security, including infrastructure, community engagement, and personal safety measures; dealing with multiple attackers; how to use verbal self defence; anti-bullying; handling discrimination and harassment; emotional and physical abuse, and neglect; human trafficking; and personal protection tips.

Defensive Tactics: This program explores the Use of Force Continuum; the self defence process; SKARS methodology; how to use range and distance; technical principles; and weapons retention and disarming. This program is designed for security personnel, law enforcement, military personnel, etc.
